Bio

  Jiran xia was born and raised in China. She has a long-term learning of Chinese painting and calligraphy in her hometown. In her past two decades, much of her inspiration comes from a variety of Chinese national culture, especially, she has a crazy love for buildings and national dress. Because of this, after she awarded 6th in the national independent recruitment of students art tests by Ji Nan university Animation Major, Guang Zhou, China,  she determined to give up this opportunity and to go to the United States. She would like to see more cultural, and study more different things, and using in her art work. So, four years ago, she moved to Los Altos, and learned English in Menlo Park, and then moved to San Francisco. Right now she is a fashion major student  in third year at the Academy of Art University, San Francisco. CA. 

 

After two years study on fashion, Jiran xia in addition to learn some technology skills, such as: knitting technology, sewing, printing and dyeing technology. She also has a broader perspective, greater drawing ability, and more accurate fashion sensitivity. Now she felt fashion things come up is not copying each other, but need to go to their own ideas to create something out. Recently, she is working on her own design coat. 

 

Nevertheless,  jiran.xia still think she has a lot of things need to learn, in addition to learn more professional skills in the school. And she needs work experievce, studying some ability in work. Also she has workout of her own character, for example, speak less, work more; and timely action. She now felt to become a famous fashion designer, or a qualified fashion designer, as well as a long way to go. . She must be very clear on the development direction of her future in the next two years, and work out a reasonable and perfect life planning.
